The Seeds of Transition

A daily practice built on seeds.
Everything you experience comes from seeds you planted before —
so to get something, give that thing away first.

Six Times BookFour PowersFour Steps Coffee MeditationGratitude ChequeYoga

What it is

It does not practise for you. It puts the practice into your day.

It is built on the system taught in The Diamond Cutter and Karmic Management. Want wealth? Be generous first. Want to be understood? Understand someone else first. That is the heart of it, and it is what this app reminds you of every day.

What is different: it never hands you a one-size-fits-all platitude. The one sentence you write down becomes every prompt, question and reminder that follows.

How it works

Break it down once — it speaks in your own words from then on

1 · Ten minutes to get the goal clear
2 · Say the change you want in one sentence
3 · It asks about that sentence, not a template
4 · The seed that matches it
5 · And why it works

You do this once. After that, the six daily reminders, the question each one asks, and the lines read back to you at bedtime are all generated from your own answers.

The methods

Not just a journal — six things you actually do

Six Times Book

Six times a day, one line each

It reminds you, and opens straight to that slot. Mark whether it was a good seed or a bad one, write a line, plant it — four taps. Can't remember what you did? Tick one item on the checklist and it writes the line for you.

Four Powers

How to pull out a bad seed

Foundation, regret, restraint, remedy — all four. Not "stop thinking about it", but actually dealing with the seed.

Four Steps · the pact

Find someone who wants the same thing

Agree to help each other, and each write down what you did this week. Seeds grow in people.

Coffee Meditation

Ten minutes before sleep

Go back over the day: rejoice in the good, purify the rest. The closing screen has nothing tappable on it — it is time to sleep.

Gratitude Cheque

Write one for someone who helped you

Say exactly what they gave you. It can be whoever brought you breakfast this morning, or a teacher from long ago.

Yoga

Hold one person in mind while you practise

The inner yoga Geshe Michael teaches: breathe in their difficulty, breathe ease back to them — that breath is itself a seed.

What is not here

The days you fall short are not a reason to be shamed

  • No streaks to break. You can water less; just don't stop planting.
  • No leaderboards, no comparing yourself to anyone.
  • No "you haven't been here for three days".
  • The minus sign is never red — honestly writing down what you did badly today is part of the practice, not a failure.

Privacy

What you write stays on your phone

  • No account, no sign-up. Goals, records and people all live on the device.
  • The words you write yourself are stored encrypted (Android Keystore; iOS file protection).
  • No analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs. No device identifiers are read.
  • "Delete account and erase all data" is a real, physical delete.

⚠️ The one thing that goes online is the AI help, when you choose to use it: the text you typed is sent, with names replaced by codes first — but that is not anonymisation. Don't use it and not a byte leaves your phone. The privacy policy spells out exactly what that protection does and does not do.
